WHEN YOU GET THERE.
Meet the Mountains is a free outdoor recreation festival built around Northeast Tennessee’s outdoor opportunities. The official festival organizes the weekend into Air, Water and Earth zones, with activities and resources designed to help people experience the outdoors in one place.
HIGH-FLYING
ENERGY.
The Air Zone is the festival’s high-flying side, including rope and climbing-style activity along with the weekend’s airborne attractions.
GET ON
THE LAKE.
The Water Zone centers water activities and casting. Winged Deer Park’s lakefront setting is a big part of the festival experience.
TRAILS +
WHEELS.
The Earth Zone is built for trail travelers, whether they move on foot or on wheels, with land-based outdoor adventure at the center.
THE MAIN FESTIVAL IS FREE.
The festival organizer says the main Winged Deer Park festival and its activities are free; some offsite events can carry an additional fee.
FOLLOW THE VOLUNTEERS.
The official FAQ says green space at Winged Deer Park Lakefront will be used for parking, with volunteers on hand to help.
